As this week is National Vegetarian Week, why not check out what’s on offer just over the Severn Bridge at Bristol’s VegFestUK?
The event, from 11am to 10pm on May 23 and 11am to 9pm on May 24 (Saturday and Sunday) is the UK’s biggest vegan festival, with DJ sets in the evenings.
The daytime part of the show features more than 150 stalls, 15 specialist vegan caterers and four licensed bars.
There will be vegan cookery demonstrations, children’s cookery classes, and lifestyle talks. Cooks on the bill include Deborah Durrant, Jo Ingleby, and Anneka Svenska.
Admission at The Amphitheatre is £3 before 5pm, £5 afterwards. Under 16s go free.
